I test drove my first car yesterday! I'm sick of Jeeps always breaking down so I've decided to try and find a dependable 4-door sedan that gets great gas mileage. After researching on the net these beauties top my list: Honda Accord, Toyota Prius, Toyota Yaris, and Toyota Corolla. So we ventured to the new Honda dealership in Martinsburg, told the guy what I wanted and test drove a 2007 Yaris

and a 2007 Corolla

It was so exciting! I was going to either lease a Corolla or buy a Yaris but sadly when we called Geico my insurance quote was way too high to fit either in my budget. We left akwardly silent. So I'm gonna do some more insurance research and in the mean time I'm lucky to have a fabulous mom who lets me drive her Del Sol! Thanks Mom! I love you!!! :) And my search continues...

8 days til Christmas!!!

Here's how our schedule looks so far...
SUNDAY MORNING Sky will sing in the play at her church.
SUNDAY AFTERNOON we'll go to Show's parents.
MONDAY, Christmas Eve, I think Sky will go to her Dads and Grandma Robins.
TUESDAY, Christmas morning, we'll do Santa's gifts at our house.
TUESDAY at 10:30 we'll all meet at Moms to do gifts and theives.
Whew! I can't wait!!!

14 Days til Christmas! Don't stress! Remember it's not the presents but our presence together that makes us happy!

Its snowing!!!! I love it!

I got called for my first sub job today for a Kindergarden class They closed school 2 hours early and I still get paid! Sweet! It was fun! The kids were bad lol!

Skys out playing in the snow. Nita likes it but she's so little she freezes!!!

BTW I won a Beijo bag on ebay for $20 (shipping included)!!! Sweeeet!!!

Plus I can listen to what I want in my car now since Show gave me a CD player and a Zune for christmas! Thanks Show!

And we're sleepin great since mom gave us a king bed for christmas! It's so great! I feel so blessed! Thank you Mom!

A wonderful Thanksgiving and now onto Christmas! Yippee!

No black Friday shopping for me, I'm working today :(

Yesterday went great! Sky went off to her Dads as usual. Show and I went to his parents in Prince George's County again. It was the most beautiful ride! All the trees were so full of color I was in awe the whole 2 hours! Nita went with us and while she did ok I don't think she likes rides that long. The food was delicious! Shows mom Kristie makes the best turnips! We left around 5. Tony had dropped Sky off at Grandma Jo's and we drove there to pick her up. She said had a blast all day! OMG I am so in love with all of my family!!! I sit here now at work listening to christmas music and am filled with excitement! I can't wait to get our tree up this weekend and wrap some more gifts! I hope everyone else had as wonderful a day as we did!

P.S. Say a little prayer for the people on the ship sinking near Antartica! I wonder if they're thinking of the people on Titanic...

One Week til Thanksgiving!

I'm bored watching the rain come down here at work... so what's everyone thankful for this year??? I'm thankful of course for Show, Sky, Kessa and Nita! I have the best little family ever!
I'm also thankful David and Abby are married and doing so well! I can't wait to meet Leo!
I'm thankful Mom, Jane, Delores and Abby are always so nice and friendly when we visit!
And I'm thankful for all of Dads help around house! He's the best dad a girl could ever have!!!
Well, even though we won't all be together for Thanksgiving this year, you will all be in our hearts and we will be wishing you all happiness and safety for the holiday!
(BTW, I can't wait for Christmas!!! We're gonna do thieves at Moms this year so be sure to bring a $20 gift!!! Yippeeeee!)
