We received a counter offer on the townhouse and we replied. Now we're just waiting to hear if they'll accept or not. IT'S TORTURE!!!

Sky graduated from 5th grade tonight! She's the most amazing kid in the whole world! Congratulations Skyler!!!

I'm excited but nervous! We put an offer on this townhouse in Inwood yesterday! It's a foreclosure and it's beautiful! It has 9' ceilings, 2 full baths and 2 half baths, a finished basement and garage, microwave and oven set into the wall, electric range right on the counter, and a beautiful master suite with soaking tub and walk in closet! We'll need to fence the yard, buy a washer and dryer, and eventually build a deck but other than that it's move in ready! It was listed at $123,800 and we offered $120,000! Keep your fingers crossed!!!

House hunting is like a roller coaster ride! I fall in love and then get heart broken. Needless to say we're still looking.

Well, that TH definately has a contract on it. :(

There were 2 other TH's in Stonebridge that weren't as great but we decided to give 1 of them another chance. It'll need a deck and we'll have to finish the basement but at $109 that wouldn't be too bad. It's a short sale and we're waiting to hear if any other offers have been put it on it already. I really hate to blog about this but we fell in love with a townhouse in Stonebridge Golf Course! It has everything we want: 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a deep master tub, a finished basement, a fenced yard, central air, and it's an end unit with a view of the 9th hole (which Show loves)! It's a foreclosure for $115. There's even a club pool and Sky's best friend lives right up the road!!!



The bad news is someone else may have put a contract on it already :( We're trying to find out for sure. But contracts fall through all the time right! I know I'll get a job and it's not like the mortgage would be outragous, about $800/month. I could finally walk around a neighborhood again! Sky could visit friends! We could throw Nita outside in the yard when she's driving us nuts! The relief of all these frustrations would be enormous! As much as we've appreciated Dad letting us rent for the past two years it's time for us to move on. And this place would be perfect!

So.... I won't be at HHS next year. They recommended I teach elementary or middle although there are currently no positions available. And thus we retracted our offer on the house :( It is a sad day....
