I woke up poopy today. I was by myself all evening and went to bed lonely. I had bad dreams that Show changed his mind and didn't want to get married anymore. And its cold and rainy outside and I had a difficult time finding stuff to match my outfit this morning. I'm wearing my navy and white dress but I paired it with my salmon cardigan which made accessorizing difficult. :(
On the upside I did get a lot done around the house last night. And I went to Walmart before work this morning and found a really cute necklace, sweater and dress! I would love to go back and buy the same sweater in the other two colors yellow and navy but I dont want to spend the money. Sigh...
The sun is out at the moment and it's nice :)

I'm working at the bank today cause its spring break week for the kiddies which means no subbing for me. Yesterday was a very slow day here and I'm predicting today will be the same. Blah... So what do I do all day? I google ideas for my wedding invitations! I'm so excited to start making them! I have so many ideas and don't know which direction to go! Hope everyone out there is well and happy!

Shows birthday at the Irish Isle was great! Before our food came we announced our wedding date - 08/08/08! Show and I will marry at the courthouse that Friday but we will have our ceremony and reception the Saturday after on the beach in Delaware! We're psyched! After today I am officially tightening and toning to prepare for the wedding. Wish me luck!

I'm 29!

Thinking back to my times as a child and living with my parents, I can always remember my Mother's birthday being a special occasion. And being a child, with thier pre-requisite short term memory, I would always ask on that day "so Mom, how old are you?" and the reply was... 29. Every Year.
It was funny to me in a kid-trying-to-relate-to-adult-humor sort of way, but then, I really didnt get it. That was until 2005. The big 30. Now I understand.
So I took you there, to get you here.
My birthday is Saturday! And... you guessed it.... I'm 29!
Its hard watching my favorite team play on Sunday and hear the announcer comment on how a player is getting old and slow, and how he has lost a step, and knowing that player is younger than me! Or when you buy beer at the supermarket and the cashier doesn't card you. Or hearing awesome songs from my high school days played on the CLASSIC rock station. Yes, I'm aging...I'm getting....OLD.
But in the end, it is what it is. I got it good. A decent job, a great family, an incredeible fiance, and awesome future in-laws. I can't complain.
So, as March 15th rolls around, the Ides of March, I revel in my... uhhh... youth! And look forward to many more happy 29ths. I cant wait.

Sick

UUUGGGHHHH!
So this wretched bug has been teasing me since last monday. Lurking in the background waiting for "me time". Well "me time" came with the passing of the work week and as the weekend struck...so did the bug!
I was weak, sore, and uncomfortable all weekend. Had some very interesting fever dreams, and had to change the sheets twice from sweating, and the funny thing was, I was always cold! I havnt even played my XBox since Wednesday night. So I called in today because, even though it was breaking, I was still weak and sore and no really in no shape for a 10 hour day. So why do I feel so guilty about calling in? Maybe I expect too much from myself. But alas, as I write this I feel somewhat like myself and feel good about the rest of the week. We'll see....
