My car hunt continues.
Today I found a 2002 Prius on cars.com with only 17,000 mi for $13,000! So I went to my bank to apply for a loan and they said my credit was outstanding but they could only give me 3 years which made the payments too high for my budget :( Now I'm thinking a new car is the only way to go to get the payments right. I'm talking to Dad about getting a new Prius and am psyched!!! But if that doesn't work out I may just have to wait til I start teaching. We'll see...

Rachel, I think you are looking for a small car to save on gas, but when you factor in the cost of paying for a loan, you'll find that you will be paying more per month than just keeping the Jeep. I think you should look for a used Honda Civic, or a small sedan that you can pay for upfront. Either way, we wish you good luck.
